Author: S. H. Landau
Goodbye Transylvania
RARE BOOK
Heinz Landau was born in Kronstadt, Transylvania, in 1920, a foreigner in his own country which had been awarded to the Rumanians in the wake of World War One.
To avoid joining the Rumanian armed forces, whose men were frequently beaten by their own officers and NCO's Landau ran away from home and joined the Germans to begin a period in his life which was to take him through some of the greatest horrors of World War Two.
With very few copies left, this fascinating title from 1985 is in high demand among enthusiasts of the second World War, and has become something of a collectors item.
