About The Author
John McDermott has been taking photographs of Glasgow for over 15 years and has a well established company www.YouKeepEveryPhoto.com In addition, John is a writer and a composer, with such contributions as 'Seb', a novel about a Glasgow boy currently being considered as a screen play by the BBC, and a new rock opera 'Jesus Christ Risen Star', hopefully to be staged at the Edinburgh Festival next year (2008). He is a double graduate from the University of Glasgow with two degrees, Bachelor of Science Honours in Biochemistry and Bachelor of Divinity with Honours followed by two years' research in Theology. John is at his happiest when he is holding a camera, directing his subjects to participate in his works of art.
