The reader is introduced to legends of the game such as leaping Eric Batten, pictured soaring above the heads of would-be tacklers in trademark fashion, and Trevor Foster MBE, who came to the club in 1938, scored tries in two winning cup finals, played for Wales and the Lions, coached the side, was a director and even official time keeper up to his death in 2005.
